For nearly a week, anyone near Cabot Panther Stadium around lunchtime has been treated to a couple of hours of patriotic music as the high school band and flag line prepares to march in this year’s Fourth of July parade at Washington, D.C. Band director Joe Trusty said the band enjoys a standing invitation to be in the parade, which is expected to draw 250,000 people in the nation’s capital.
